Melissa Suzanne George, an Australia-born actress, and businessperson who is also an model and inventor. Melissa George started out her modeling career as a model and actor in Australia, but eventually relocated to Hollywood. George is a native of Perth in Western Australia, was originally interested in dance and artistic roller-skating. She began her modeling career in her early teens and earned the title Western Australia's teenage Model for the year in the year 1992. Her first screen appearance was on an episode of the Seven Network soap opera Home and Away. Dark City was her debut on the big screen.
